The Downs Law Firm K104 Scoreboard Show is proud to support our local charities. We donate $500 every game to one of several local charitable organizations.
This week is a little different. We’re supporting a local teacher in her fight against cancer. Mrs. Ashly Roberts is a Caldwell Parish resident with deep ties to the community and has been a teacher with the Caldwell Parish school district for about 25 years. Mrs. Roberts is a kind, caring and compassionate teacher. She is a beloved teacher and the kind that cares deeply for all students, whether she has taught them or not. We want to let her know how much we love and appreciate her and that all of our thoughts and prayers are with she and her family as she continues to face this battle. This is Ashly’s Miracle in the making!
On top of the $500 donated by the Downs Law Firm, the Game of the Week will also take a moment at the end of the 3rd quarter of the game on Friday night, to “pass the hat” to raise money among the crowd. Whether you are a Caldwell Spartan fan or a Jena Giant fan, we are calling on you to help out! Here is your opportunity to show your love and support to Mrs. Ashly Roberts for all of the love, care and kindness that she has shown throughout the years.
