Our first BIG WIN OF THE WEEK award provided no shortage of strong candidates. Sterlington went on the road and beat a strong Logansport team. Riverfield shut out their rival River Oaks. Neville came back to beat Ruston. Jena, Union and Sicily Island all had impressive home wins while Mangham, Caldwell and Carroll had strong road wins but we are going with the Bastrop Rams. Bastrop lost their head coach, had several key players graduate and transfer and were underdogs to a strong Wossman team but they went to Grady Jones field and had an impressive 43-13 win. Congrats to Coach Sherrod and the Rams for being selected the Downs Law BIG WIN week 1 award winner.
